Lincolnshire Automatics is a family run business that through its directors has a wealth of experience in the Lesiure Industry. Primarily involved in the amusement machine and games industry the company is an expert in it's field whether it be in the direct operation of Family Entertainment Centres (FECs), as partner or as a consultant to your own business.
Linconshire Automatics Ltd is able to operate all over the world and is knowledgeable and sensitive to different cultures and different attitudes towards leisure in different parts of the world. Company History
Lincolnshire Automatics Ltd. was formed in 1961 by three brothers who had already been in the Amusement Industry since the 1930's. The original shareholders first showed there skills in operating amusement machines on old piers and in what were essentially wooden sheds. To date the company has operated many Inland and Seaside amusement Centres in The North, North East, South and South West of England. The company has also been heavily involved in the hire of machines and in operating machines for third parties. The directors expertise has also been used in the manufacture of machines. The company also has a history of cinema management, Cash Bingo club management hotel management, as well as retail and catering management. Lincolnshire Automatics has internally created it's own growth and enjoying the full support of it's bankers, the company is entirely self-financed and has never needed recourse to outside investors either in the form of shareholders of ventures capitalists. As a result of which the company remains entirely independent. The ever changing face of leisure in the 1990's led company to move away from the traditional amusements and heavily invested in three large Family Entertainment Centres in the South West under the brand name of K's Entertainment Centres. The company now operates three Family Entertainment Centres in the South West under the name of K's Entertainment Centres.
Although these are located in the traditional seaside towns of Minehead, Torquay and Swanage the centres have been expanded and modernised to incorporate the latest technology has to offer.
These centre are based around coin operated machinery but include other games, catering and retail.
The Centres are operated on the principles of "value for money", "Personal Service", and "a great Atmosphere". K's Entertainment Centres are one of the market leaders in their field. Leading the way in the redemption of prizes
K's Entertainment Centres have now introduce a loyalty scheme for the customers and in 1999 will be introducing a non cash payment system.
Coin Operated Amusements have become heavily used in all walks of leisure activities but Lincolnshire Automatics feel that with the K's Entertainment Centres that they have got this particular leisure product right and although enjoying a stable financial base and a third generation family management, the company remains acquisitive and considers all opportunities for further growth when they arise. Kravis and Malcolm Kravis. All three where born into the amusement industry
and have worked in the business from before leaving school. They have
all seen the huge changes that have taken place within in the leisure
